Trans Comms supported a Tier 1 (CATa) global enterprise in the online travel technology sector with a set of Workplace Technology work packages delivered in Munich, Germany. The engagement is notable not only for the international location, but for the repeat delivery pattern – moving from transition activity, to commissioning, to responsive in-life changes over a multi-month period.
The timeline shows practical workplace transition activity with controlled installation and in-life change. In March 2024, Trans Comms decommissioned legacy office equipment and managed segregation for recycling, transfer to the new Munich office, and packing and shipment to Prague, demonstrating disciplined asset handling and logistics coordination. In early April, the team completed installation and commissioning at the new site, including universal desks and three meeting rooms. A further June visit delivered a targeted AV change-replacement of a 65” meeting room display – showing responsive, ongoing support capability.
The outcomes depended on sequencing, stakeholder coordination and governance, especially with the involvement of multiple sites and asset streams. Trans Comms successfully controlled the decommissioning of legacy equipment, (2) installation and commissioning at a new office location, and follow-on support to keep meeting spaces operational and consistent.
Even within the EU, moving equipment internationally requires disciplined labelling/segregation, scheduling and handover with local facilities teams to prevent loss, delays or disruption. Completing these works in a defined window supports continuity for the business and reduces operational downtime.
Across these work packages, Trans Comms operated under formal method statements and RAMS, supporting safe delivery and consistent standards. The RAMS set referenced controls for communication with foreign-speaking workers reinforcing readiness to operate in international environments and diverse site teams.
