Trans Comms was engaged to provide specialist engineering resource in Paris to complete structured cabling terminations and confirm performance through testing—an essential enabling activity within a wider workplace technology programme. Delivery was scheduled across one day in summer 2024, with mobilisation from the UK planned as a one-day round trip.
Workplace environments demand dependable physical connectivity, supporting user endpoints, meeting rooms, or network equipment. This engagement covered 40 terminations, inclusive of patch panels and test activity, with travel and on-the-ground logistics built into the delivery model.
Trans Comms delivered the scope as a defined, outcome-based engineering visit, with testing included to confirm cabling continuity/performance throughout. The engagement removed friction for the client team: travel and on-assignment logistics were accounted for within the commercial model, enabling clear approval and prompt deployment.
Trans Comms explicitly set expectations that testing provided verification of the cables at the point of test, while not transferring ownership or warranty for previous works.
